How Stem Cell & PRP Therapy Works at Native Stem Cell

Understanding how regenerative medicine works is an essential first step in deciding whether stem cell therapy or PRP is right for you. At Native Stem Cell, our goal is to explain each part of the process clearly so you know exactly what to expect before beginning treatment.

The Science Behind Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine uses your body’s own healing mechanisms — including stem cells, growth factors, and platelets — to support tissue repair in damaged joints, tendons, and ligaments. These treatments help: Reduce inflammation; Support biologic tissue repair; Improve joint function; Slow or delay degeneration; Reduce pain naturally; Help patients avoid unnecessary surgery.

What Is ReVivaStem®?

ReVivaStem® is Native Stem Cell’s proprietary stem cell therapy protocol. It combines: Autologous bone marrow–derived stem cells; Advanced biologic concentration; Professional injection; A structured post-treatment program. ReVivaStem® is designed specifically for orthopedic conditions such as arthritis, cartilage wear, tendon degeneration, and joint injury.

What Is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?

PRP is created from your own blood. Platelets contain growth factors that help stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and improve healing in tendons and joints. PRP is often used for: Mild to moderate arthritis; Tendonitis; Ligament strain; Rotator cuff irritation; Meniscus inflammation; Tennis elbow / golfer’s elbow.

Consultation & Imaging Review

We evaluate your condition, review X-rays or MRI, and determine whether stem cell therapy or PRP is appropriate.

Personalized Treatment Plan

Your physician explains your diagnosis, expected outcomes, and which biologic treatment will offer the most benefit.

Day of Procedure

You will undergo either a PRP draw or a bone marrow stem cell collection.

Biologic Processing

Your biologic sample is processed in a specialized sterile system to create high-quality PRP or ReVivaStem® concentrate.

Recovery & Healing Timeline

Most patients begin seeing results over 4–12 weeks, with continued improvement over several months.

Dr. Crawford has treated more than 100,000 patients for orthopedic conditions across Metro Detroit and West Michigan. He brings a unique blend of surgical training and scientific rigor—holding bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering, a master’s in chemical engineering, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.

He began studying regenerative orthobiologics over 15 years ago and founded Native Stem Cell Clinics in 2016 to expand access to stem cell therapy and PRP for appropriate candidates. Outside of medicine, he stays active—skiing, golf, tennis, cycling and hockey—so he understands the goals of patients who want to move without pain.
